Do you provide technical support for templates if I cannot print on the template provided?
We do not provide technical support for templates, due to variations in personal printers and computers.
Although here are some tips for using the template provided:
- Before printing on the labels, use a test sheet with standard printer paper to ensure that
alignment and margins will be correct on your labels.
- Do not try to copy and paste into multiple text boxes at once. Insert text into a single label
template box at a time.
- Do not try to fill in multiple template rows at once. Paste data directly into the individual label box, and continue until the row is complete. Then you can copy and paste the rows.
- For quick copy and pasting, type into one cell then copy the text (CTRL + C), and proceed to move from one cell to the next using the mouse, and (CTRL + V) for paste.
- When printing with these templates allow your labels to dry before printing on another sheet.
This prevents the labels from smudging.
- Separate your labels before loading them in the printer tray to prevent sheets from sticking together.
- Weigh your labels down with a heavy object to keep the edges of the label from curling.
How do I print on my stickers if they do not come with a template?
Measure Your Labels: Before starting, measure the label dimensions accurately. You'll also need to know the spacing between labels and the margins of the sheet.
Microsoft Word:
Open Word: Start Microsoft Word and create a new blank document.
Navigate to the Mailings Tab: You'll find the "Labels" option in this tab.
Click on Labels: Then select "Options".
Label Vendors: If your label brand is listed but just not the specific type, you might be able to find a similar size and adjust it. If not, click on "New Label".
Enter Label Details:
In the 'Label name' field, type a descriptive name for your custom label.
Fill in the label size and number details based on your measurements (including label dimensions, page size, number of labels across and down the sheet, margins, and spacings).
Save: Once you're satisfied with the configurations, click on "OK" to save your custom label.
Create Labels: Back in the 'Envelopes and Labels' window, you can type what you want in the label, and then click on "New Document" to create a sheet of labels.
Design and Print:
Once you have a full sheet of labels in your Word document, you can further customize them. You can add images, change fonts, and more.
When you're ready to print, make sure your label sheets are loaded into your printer. Go to File > Print to review settings and print your labels.
Test Print:
Before printing on your actual label sheets, consider doing a test print on a regular sheet of paper. Place this test sheet behind a label sheet and hold it up to a light. This way, you can check the alignment without wasting a label sheet.
Adjustments:
If the test print is not aligned properly, return to the label settings and adjust the margins, label size, or spacing as needed. Then, test print again.
By following these steps, you should be able to create a custom template in Microsoft Word to print on any label sheet, even if it doesn't come with a predefined template.
Additional notes for the templates:
Dear valued customer,
We sincerely appreciate your order and your business with us.
The template provided for your sheet of labels is crafted to be compatible with the majority of printers and applications. However, due to variations in preset pages and default printer settings across different devices and applications, adjustments may be necessary to ensure the proper fitting of data onto the sheet.
To achieve optimal alignment with the template borders, users may need to fine-tune margins and adjust default page settings. While many users successfully manage these adjustments independently, we understand that some may require additional assistance from knowledgeable individuals or those skilled in computer and printer operations.
Regrettably, we do not offer direct support for these adjustments. We recommend exploring resources such as Google or YouTube, where you may find additional information and guidance to assist you in this process.
Once again, thank you for choosing our product, and we wish you the best of luck in utilizing the template effectively.
Warm regards,
Royal Green team
